 Nidel is a rogue that unwillingly worked for the crown of Lylena Taesi.   Nidel has a demon imprisoned inside of him, the demon gives him some benefits but only when he is in a demonic shift.

 

Drake, the king of Lylena Taesi, who is the one that imprisoned the demon, can cast a spell that irritates the demon in its bindings, that in turn causes Nidel great pain. Drake uses this to force Nidel to do what he wants.  

 

 When Drake disappeared, Nidel left Lylena Taesi under the cover of night headed for Darkstone.  In his “escape” he stole a working prototype for a modified one-handed crossbow and the bolts for it. The crossbow uses gears and a cylinder with a spring to automatically reset the string then a lever around where the thumb would be turns the cylinder resetting the crossbow.   This modification allows the crossbow to fire more rapidly although it can only hold up to six bolts.

 

Nidel normally looks like a ravashing, good looking, sweet talking, rogue, But with glowing silver eyes, Nidel has a very sarcastic attitude. He is very direct, but simply doesn't care about most things, unless there is money involved or some other material benefit involved.   

Currently he is a bounty hunter for the Emperor and Empress of Darkstone.   He resided there a few hundred years and gained a reputation with the crown itself.  If they are in search of something or someone, they usually call him if other resources are exhausted.
